The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed regarding the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The services point made for intervention encounters a high influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
